"Shoot With a Camera" project was conceived as a way for youth to express themselves in creative and productive ways

Voices at WordPlay

VOICES is WordPlay’s teen poetry and performance programming, which provides opportunities for youth to connect to their communities through publications, performances and community events, deepening programmatic capacity with self-discovery, arts-in-healing and community building at their core.

Paddlefest at Adventure Crew

Research has shown that engaging in outdoor activity can reduce stress, calm anger, decrease anxiety, and improve memory, attention, and regulate impulse control. Local nonprofit Adventure Crew gives teens opportunities to get outside and have fun, learn, and experience the joy of working and playing together in the outdoors.

Equine Program at Adventure Crew

Especially for kids, caring for and riding horses, and simply playing and exploring the outdoors, can bring relief from stress, manage symptoms of depression and anxiety, improve communication skills, build trust, and help them learn how to regulate their emotions. All essential qualities as the community addresses a mental health crisis among its youth.

Artsville, a community arts center in Madisonville, tapped into a Fourthwall crew to develop a video for Artsville's capital fundraising campaign. The production crew was supported by the City of Cincinnati's Youth to Work Program and by Artworks.

The Cincinnati Recreation Commission's Youth To Work program hires hundreds of local youth each year, providing valuable training, experience and income to our future workforce. This video includes testimonials of Youth To Work participants.

Sticky Innovation

University of Cincinnati Honors Program students were scheduled to present their BioScience project, “Sticky Innovation”, at the 2019 BioDesign Challenge Summit at MOMA in New York. But they needed someone to help them with their story and presentation.

SSOM Pride

Second Sunday On Main engaged the students at Fourthwall to shoot and edit a promo video for the monthly festival on Main St. The festival theme was Pride.

Tri Yoga with LQ

Tri-Yoga with LQ is a studio owned and operated by former city council member Laure Quinlivan. Laure’s practice has a unique selling point and is relatively new. She needed a promotional video for her social media and newsletter campaigns which would help spread the word about her practice.

Creelsboro and the Cumberland: A Living History

This video features Eli Bedel discussing and playing numerous “old timey” instruments and highlighting their historical importance as part of a larger documentary being produced by Voyageur Media.

Students produced this short to capture part of their training process and learn how to put a finished piece together.

The ESL program at Aiken School gives students the opportunity to advance in school while they gain expertise in English. This video highlights some of the great programs available at Aiken that help kids succeed school ...and in life.

Democracy & Me - Aiken School

This collaboration with Aiken School's ESL program and WVXU's Democracy & Me show gave students the opportunity to visit the station and work with professional broadcasters to craft their story.

The Incline Run - Oyler School

This collaboration with Oyler School highlights the re-opening of Maryland Ave which helps to reconnect the neighborhoods of Lower Price Hill and East Price Hill.

The Teaching Kitchen - Oyler School

Oyler and UC students collaborated on highlighting The Teaching Kitchen, an initiative of Bloc Ministries which helps prepare young people from Lower Price Hill for a career in the restaurant industry.

Oyler Podcast

Oyler students set up and ran a podcast which included interviewing some of the college students with whom they were collaborating. They also read the intros for the other UC/Oyler projects.

Santa Maria

Santa Maria services the community of Lower Price Hill, East Price Hill and Price Hill providing critical services to those in need. Another great story from this Oyler/UC collaboration.

Sweet Cheeks

Santa Maria offers the only non-profit diaper bank in Cincinnati. Hill neighborhood. The Oyler and UC production teams spoke with CEO and Founder Megan Fischer to find out more about this critical Lower Price Hill service.

University of Cincinnati film students collaborated with high school students from Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy in the West End neighborhood of Cincinnati. This film deals with bullying, how to confront it and overcome it.
